We loaded up and hit the road bright and early Saturday morning (3/19/11) just the two of us. 3 hours later we made it to the Grand Canyon! It was so pretty and pieceful there I didn't want to come home!
We weren't able to stay too long because I had to get home for my nephews birthday party. So after 2 hours of hiking, throwing rocks over the edge and just relaxing we made the 3 hour drive back home.
I can't wait till it warms up so we can go back......

Those are some really cute pictures, but couldn't you have stood further away from the edge? Geez louise I had a little anxiety looking at them. I feel like your mom!
