Save A Sister 5k

Last weekend Kesha and I had the privledge of running in the Save A Sister 5k. It was a blast and I am very proud of Kesha! We though for sure that our time would be 40+ minutes but as we rounded that corner to the finish line I glanced at the clock and it said 37 minutes. I turned to Kesha and said "Now's the time to break your time!" and we took off running our hearts out! We ended up finishing in 36 minutes!!

The best part of the whole race was seeing all the pink!!!

Monday Must Have

1- This bedroom set is to die for and my inspiration for mine and Casey's room.

2- Cute way to document all the places Casey and I will travel....for now it would only be SLC, Vegas....oh Cancun and soon Kansas City, MO.

3- Khloe Kardashian-Omar's shoe collection! All those red soles.....HEAVEN!!!!

4- Perfect Saturday/Sunday outfit! I have a new obsession with flats and watches....I dont own either of them but I love to owe and awe over them and DREAM!

I have decided I need to find more ways to post. So Monday Must Haves are a great way to do this....and hey with Christmas coming up....its a great way to throw your Christmas list out there to family members....**wink wink**

On Saturday my parents took Kory out to lunch for his birthday and asked if Kesha and I would babysit. Sure leave us with the ADHD children! Of course we accepted, especially since my mom offered to pay for lunch!

We decided to let Hailey plan our day. Her first request, Chinese Food for lunch. So we headed to Panda Express, which we later found out she doesnt like. Her exact words "My Chinese store is better then yours. I dont like yours."!

Hailey wanted to eat lunch at the park so we headed to Washington Nisson Park. After eating lunch Hailey and Rilee discovered the ditch....the pictures below show just how much fun they had.

All in all we had a very fun day with Hailey and Rilee.

Casey's Birthday!

Casey's birthday was on Saturday, Sept. 17th. For my birthday Casey bought me a mtn bike so I knew there was NO WAY I was going to get away with only giving him a card for his birthday. I had been stressing like crazy trying to figure out what to get him. My dad helped me pick out a remote control helicopter and I was all excited to by it for him! Monday, Sept 12 I was driving home from work and it hit me like a lightening bolt as to what I was going to get him.....DUH Kansas City Chiefs tickets!!! Casey's family are HUGE fans so I knew it would be the perfect gift!

I am horrible at surprises but am very surprised with myself that I held out and did not give it to him until Saturday morning! The reaction on his face made all the money spent worth it!!

I had planned to make him breakfast that morning so while he was trying to post pictures of the tickets to facebook I hit the kitchen and started cooking. I had full intentions of taking a picture of the yummy breakfast I made....but obviously failed miserably at that....just take our word for it...breakfast was YUMMY!!

The rest of the day was spent at Casey's coworkers house swimming, eating and having a blast!!

Cancun, Mexico (9/4/2011 - 9/9/2011)

Back in January Casey's coworker invited us to go to Cancun with him and friends. Of course we couldnt pass that up!! Resort/flight were all booked in January....which made for a VERY LONG wait to September. The day had finally come and we couldn't have been any more excited!

Saturday afternoon we headed down to Vegas to start off the vacation. Our flight was at 6 am.

Arriving in Cancun was a very different experience for me, seeing as how I have never been....a) on a big plane and b) out of the country! The final desent into Cancun you could feel the heat! It was so muggy...needless to say if my hair wasnt curly in a bun it was in a hat!

We stayed at an all-inclusive resort called "Excellence Playa Mujeres". If anyone is looking into a trip to Cancun I HIGHLY recommend you stay there! The staff are all very professional and friendly!

While in Cancun we were able to swim with the dolphins, explore the island, go snorkelling and relax by the pool/beach.

It was the best vacation I have ever been on! I hate being back to work but I love being home!

Never take one moment for granted....its amazing how in the blink of an eye things can change. This is all too familiar to one family whose 2 1/2 year old daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on August 25. Read all about her story and the everyday struggles her family deals with here.

Casey finally had a weekend off so we decided to load up and take a drive to Toroweap. I had never been there. Ever since we stated dating Casey always talked about Toroweap and taking me to Toroweap...and the day finally came.

We loaded up and hit the road bright and early Saturday morning (3/19/11) just the two of us. 3 hours later we made it to the Grand Canyon! It was so pretty and pieceful there I didn't want to come home!

We weren't able to stay too long because I had to get home for my nephews birthday party. So after 2 hours of hiking, throwing rocks over the edge and just relaxing we made the 3 hour drive back home.

I can't wait till it warms up so we can go back......

Your idea of the perfect first date....

Let's be honest first dates are the WORST! You are both so worried about what the other one is thinking about so you spend the whole first date self conscious. I hate first dates!! The perfect date is anything low key. I am such a homebody so my perfect date would be getting food to go and going home and watching a movie. It so much easier to get to know a person when you dont have the constant distractions you have at a resturant or a movie theater.

It all started on July 2, since we live in Utah and they celebrate Holidays a day ahead if the holiday falls on a Sunday, my boss let us off work early for the holiday weekend. I was so excited to be off work early but had absolutely NO PLANS! I decided to give my friend Katie (Eirwin) a call and see what she was up to, "I am heading over to a pool party that a coworker of mine is throwing. I'm taking Teya and Kayden if you want to come and hang out." I don't pass up a pool party so I hurried home changing into my swimming suit and waited for Katie to pick me up.

After unloading the kids, food, drinks and all swimming gear we headed to the backyard where everyone is. If you know me you will know that I can be very shy especially around people I dont know. Katie gave quick introduction "That's Keith, Summer and Casey." I helped Katie get the kids all ready to swim and than jumped in the pool with Teya. After a while of swimming Casey came over and talked to me for a bit and than started playing with Teya. She is miss bossy, if you don't do things her way you get put in time-out (which was the hot tub). If I wasn't in the hot tub (time-out) Casey was. We ended up hanging out at the pool till about 9, Casey and Katie had to be to work by 5 am the next morning.

They were all hanging out at the pool again the next day and I was planning on hanging out, that is until my sister Mindi went into labor. I was able to leave the hospital for an hour to go say hi but than immediately went back to the hospital. Later that night I received a facebook message from Casey saying he wanted to ask me for my number but I left so fast and he didnt dare ask Katie. After talking for a day or two through facebook I decided to give him my phone number.

I had just got out of a bad 3 1/2 year long relationship and wasnt about to just jump into another relationship. Casey asked me out once a week but everytime I would tell him "No"....how rude of me I know! A month went by we had hung out a few times at some of the "SkyWest Parties", Casey still continued to ask me out and I continued to turn him down.

Finally he had given up, which in turn ended up being the smartest move he could have done! There was a Zumba party in the Wal-Mart parking lot that Katie and I were going to. Katie had invited me to a pool party earlier that day but I didnt feel up to going so I declined but told her I would pick her up later. Later came and I headed over to her house, I walk in the door everyone BUT CASEY says hi to me. Everytime I would look at Casey he would look away. All I could think is "What did I do?? Why is he ignoring me?? What a JERK!!!" He stopped texting me after that....

The next week (Wednesday August 4, 2010) I was going Vegas with Katie, her sister, my sister and my sister's friend. Katie had convinced me to drive to Grand Junction with her to drop off the kids and pick up her sister on Tuesday. The whole way to and from Grand Junction Katie and Casey were texted.....to say I was jealous would be an understatement! We got to Vegas and the whole time all I could think about was Casey and getting back to hang out with him the next day, another one of Katie's co-workers Brent was having a party at his house. Katie was wanting to stay another day but I convinced them that we should go home :)

Thursday, we got home from Vegas around 3 which gave me enough time to take an hour nap and get ready to go the the party at Brent's......and don't you worry I made sure I looked GOOD for Casey. The whole night me and Casey were unseperable, anywhere I went he went and anywhere he went I went....except the bathroom of course.

The next day we texted all day and made plans to hang out the following day (August 7, 2010).

We decided we were just going to hang out at his house and watch a movie on NetFlix. We watched Year One and Mall Cop, both movie's I think we watched a total of 10 minutes because we were talking. It was so easy it was to talk to him and I felt so comfortable around him. We ended the night with Casey kissing me goodnight. Ever since that day we have been unseperable....well besides the trips to Japan, Idaho, DC, Florida that he has left me to go on with the boys.

Casey is the PERFECT guy for me! I couldn't imagine being with anyone else. He makes me laugh constantly! And an added bonus....my family loves him!!!! My niece and nephew have let me know that they like Casey more than me.....its ok though, I'm ok with it really....no really I am....but the next time they want me to buy them something they can go talk to their favorite CASEY!

Now you all know about the story of how me and Casey met.

30 Day Challenge

I have seen on alot of people's blogs (because I of course blog stalk ALOT!) the 30 day challenge and thought it would be fun to do. Plus I really want to start blogging more and figure if I HAVE to blog everyday for 30 days than it will soon become a habit and I will WANT to blog all the time....here's to at least hoping.

(No I didnt take this picture for my MySpace (if I had one) or Facebook, I had just got my hair done and sent a picture to Casey.)

I have been at work since 8:30 am...with the help of Starbucks....my day has, so far, been very good. It is definately going by very fast....3day weekend here I come!!

P.S. Since I work all week on the computer and when the weekend comes I want NOTHING to do with a computer, I am not counting the weekends (and holidays) in on the 30 days.

Wow is the word to best describe this past year. 2010 brought on alot of changes in my life from getting out of a toxic relationship, to welcoming 2 new nieces into the family and finding love. Here are a few pictures to give you a little recap of my 2010:

Chelsi's Run

I had the opportunity to participate in the 5K walk/run for Chelsi Petersen last night. What an amazing opportunity that was! I had never met Chelsi before but just being at the run last night listening to some of the stories that friends & families were sharing with each other as I passed by them gave me a good idea as to what an amazing person she was. It made me step back and take a look at my life.

I take for granted allot that I have, not always realizing how easy they can all be taken away. There are days when I start to think "Why does this have to happen to me?" or I just want to give up, go back to bed and pray for tomorrow to come fast! I am so thankful for everything I have and everything I have been able to experience in my life. I would not be the person I am today if it werent for my parents! I have made alot of mistakes, and still do, but with every mistake I have and do make they are always there with open arms and open ears ready to listen and give me the advise I need to hear (usually I dont want to hear it). Even though my dad refers to me as "his mistake" I am glad he made the mistake and I was blessed with such an amazing family!! I have the best brother and sisters in the world and would not change my life or family for anything!!!! I know I dont ever tell my family how much I love them and just how much they really do mean to me but I could not get through the day without them.

I just wanted to tell you Happy Birthday and let you know how much I appreciate and love you!

1. She can sew just about anything....scratch that.....she CAN sew ANYTHING!!!!!

2. Her daughter had the cutest little omish curls for the longest time and she refrused to cut them.

3. She use to make me play catch with her when she played fast pitch softball in high school and she would pitch so fast that my hands would be numb and sting!

4. Loves my no-bake cookies

5. when she was little my parents had to tie a rope to her door to keep her in her room

6. We use to get in the worse (punching) fights ever!!

7. She has the cutest daughter EVER!!!!

8. Lets me spoil Hailey....even if Kory doesnt like me to give her the things I give her :)

9. She talks to my dad on the phone every Wednesday...thats the only way she knows what day of the week it is.

10. In High/Middle School I was known as "Tiffini's little sister".....most of the teachers (especially Mrs. Elder hated me because of her)

11. She use to eat SO MUCH candy but after she had Hailey she stopped.

12. Doesnt drink soda

13. Makes the best homemade Cafe Rio salads!!

14. My grandpa Gull called her Teffnee from the day she was born

15. All the kids call her TeeTee

16. I have always been jealous of her handwriting

17. Had her belly button pierced after she graduated but it got infected

18. Sneezes a million times in a row and they are LOUD!! (just ask Hailey, she covers her ears)

19. Was on bed rest for almost 4 months with Hailey

20. She is a great example to me!

21. Is an amazing mother!

22. Knocked up with her second baby girl!

23. Has just about every color in her hair (which at one point was natural)

24. Is the best hairstylist ever!!! If it wasnt for her I would have pulled a Britney and shaved my head!!!

25. Has the biggest heart (takes after her mother)

26. When we were little we would measure our boobs and butt to see who's is bigger. (ok so we still do it)

27. Has a contagious smile!

28. Has a very strong testimony of the church and loves it very much!

I honestly dont know if she is 28 or 29 so I better have 29 things about her just in case :)

I cannot believe this little girl is 2 years old! It seems like only yesterday Tiffini was completely miserable on bedrest. All I can say to Tiffini & Kory is.......GOOD LUCK!!!! She was terrible one I can only imagine what the TERROR two's will bring :)

I cannot believe she is gone! She has been through alot the past month. October 3 she went into the hospital because she was really really sick. They found out she had a hole in her stomach so they rushed her into surgery. While they were performing the surgery they found a large tumor. They removed it along with part of her stomach. The tests from the tumor came back positive for cancer. The doctors told her it was a very rare and aggresive form of cancer but that they believe they got all of it out in surgery but they would not be able to preform a full body scan until she was fully recovered from the surgery. After that she had one or two more surgeries. She wanted to go home so bad but everytime they were going to release her she would end up running a fever so they would have to keep her a few more nights. She was finally released from the hospital over the weekend. This morning she fell getting out of bed, hit her head and was unresponsive and not able to breathe on her own. They got her to the hospital and she was having heart problems. At about 1:30 pm she passed.

Its hard to believe. I am glad she didnt have to suffer for long though. Watching my uncle go through what he went through with his cancer I did not want another family member to have to go through all that.

Connie, I will never be able to look at a cup of crushed ice without thinking about you. I have so many memories of coming to your house in Salt Lake. Thank you for putting up with me all those times I would come stay with you. You will deeply be missed by so many! I love you and will see you again someday!

So I have come to the conclusion that my sister's Tiffini and Kesha are a bunch of talent whores! They somehow stole all the good crafty talent genes!!! If any of you have looked at Tiffini's website "Dream Seam" you will see what I am talking about! She can pretty much sew anything and everything. Now one of the reason's Kesha is a 'Talent Whore'....

A few weekends ago Kesha's husband gave her a nice camera for her early Christmas present...Christmas in September....she was all sorts of excited to try it out and ofcourse I was the guinea pig. She came over Saturday morning and we went around to the random areas of our back yard and took some pictures. After she worked her magic and edited them....this is how they turned out.

Grandma Bone

Today is the anniversary of my Grandma Bone's death. Not quite sure how many years she has been gone. I still remember the day she died. It was a Sunday morning I was in mine and Mindi's room playing Barbies before we had to head to church, next thing I know my mom goes running into her room crying and my dad immediately follows. Me being as young as I was didnt know what was going on. After a little while my dad came out gathered us all together and told us Grandma Bone had died in the night. She went up north to visit her sister (I think it was her sister) got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and didnt make it back to her bed. Her sister found her later on.

My best memory of my Grandma actually happened not too long before she died. My grandma invited me and Mindi to sleep at her house and told us she would teach us how to crochet...my grandma later found out that was a bad idea...she kept getting mad at me because I would either do it too tight or too loose so she told me she would teach me when I was older. So needless to say to this day I don't exactly know how to crochet anything but a rope....But man can I crochet a mean rope :)

I have tons of memories from the summer times when my cousins would come down and stay at my grandmas. Here are some of them:

** walking to the gas station (thanks to my cousin Cathy I had my first taste of Dr. Pepper on the walk back from the gas station when my parents werent around:D)

** going to the park

** playing in the cherry trees (until we would get yelled at for playing in the cherry trees)

** going to the Nature Walk

** throwing stuff into the neighbors pool

** playing with her gold coins

July 25....We tried to get in all of the last minute shopping for the Bridal Shower and the Wedding....(the picture below) I had to find out ways to entertain Hailey while we waited in the drive-thru at Mtn America, she wanted to wear some of my sunglasses and of course once she put the glasses on the first thing out of her mouth was "I Cute"

July 26....Kylee's Birthday...the picture below me and Mindi we trying to teach Autumn and my dad how to do the "Cha Cha Slide"....Hailey was dancing better than Grandpa....

July 29....Mindi's Movie Themed Bridal Shower....or should I say Lady & The Tramp Themed (Don't worry Mom Mindi loves spaghetti)

Bachelorette Party

So I told a few people I would do this post last week...well I tried over the weekend but my mom's computer wouldnt work with me so I gave up :)

Last Wednesday Katie and I threw Mindi a Bachelorette Party. We all meet over at Mindi's house at 6:30 for a BBQ. Well an attempt at one. Carrie was in charge of making the hamburgers...they didnt exactly work too well. Needless to say we all ate chips that night for dinner. After hanging out and Mindi's we headed up to Cedar. Our friend Ben is the DJ on Wednesday nights at the Bar/Grill Toadz so he set us up a VIP section with our own server. The below post are just a few of the pictures of our night. (the computer is being stupid and wont let me post it with this one!) (FYI I HATE COMPUTERS!!!!)

All in all it was a good night...even though I almost got in a fight with some drunk girl...Thanks to MJ for saving me from going to jail :)

"Biggest Loser"

If any of you watched the Biggest Loser this last season you will know exactly who these two guys are....SIONE & FILIPE!

The past 3 day my mom was able to go to a Biggest Loser Boot Camp put on by Sione & Filipe. Last night they did a little program for all the participants and their families, Taylor from American Idol and Evazing performed. It was a really fun program.

If you look at my eyes you can tell I have been crying....I dont think these two guys will ever know how thankful I am for them, they have saved my mom's life! She is so excited to loose the weight now and it is the greatest gift anyone could ask for! In the program the guy announcing was talking about how you can touch someones life or change someones life just from a simple hello or by your actions. He went on to talk about my mom, during the last day of the boot camp they were told to sprint well my mom took off as fast as she possible could, after a little bit she ended up falling,he went on to tell how he started to go help her up but instead she got right back up looked at him with those "Get Lost Buddy" eyes and continued to sprint. He said in that moment she inspired him, if she can get up after falling like she did why couldnt he do it. If any of you know my mom she use to be a star athlete in Volleyball, Softball and Basketball. She has had 2 knee replacements but in that moment her athlete mindset kicked in and she wasnt about to give up. My mom is definately my hero. She has been through alot the past 3-4 years from loosing her baby brother and best friend to Cancer to struggling with her weight she has always tried to stay positive even though she wanted to just give up. She is the most generous loving person I know (just come over to my house...I mean The Gull's Bed & Breakfast and you will see). Mom, I love you and thank you for being my hero!

Today is my sister Tiffini's birthday....I would love to tell you how old she is but I really dont know :) (hey atleast I remebered her birthday...right?!?) A friend of mine that works at an Insurance Office emailed me today and asked that I warn everyone, below is her email:

"We just had a client in our office that had a vehicle stolen out of their garage in Ivins, the thief's were there with purpose and knew exactly what they were after, no one was hurt but the scariest part is that they broke into the garage, they did not just go for the easy theft of a vehicle sitting out side of the house.

Per the police officer they spoke with they were told that there is a vehicle theft ring between Mesquite and Las Vegas, and that there is a small part of a 'Mafia' (their word not mine) in Littlefield, and there is a connection with persons here in our area - I am only telling you all this so that you will be more careful and make sure to take precautions, be safe, if you expect a burglar call the police, do not endanger yourself, and always make sure any door from your garage to the inside of your home is locked!!"

Please be sure to lock your house doors and do not leave ANY personal belongings in your vehicles!! Be sure to let everyone know!

Relay For Life

This weekend was the Relay for Life here in St. George. St. George Ford does it every year and since Kesha works there we are able to join up with them and run/walk. This was my 3rd year doing it with Kesha. But this year was extra special because my mom, dad, sister Mindi, her boyfriend Josh and his two kids Landon and Ashlyn do it with us. Ever since my Uncle Richard and Julie Schmutz died of cancer I have been apart of this event, my way of telling them they are still and forever will be remebered for their strong fight. Next year we are going to try to get a team together and stay there for the full 24 hours and be apart of the whole process. If anyone would like to be a part of this with us let me know.

All in all it was a pretty fun weekend!

The Weekend

This past weekend me and my dad took my mom to Ephriam to stay with my sister Tiffini for the week. I love going to their house, it doesnt matter how sad, mad or tired you are the second you see Haileys little smile it all goes away. Me and Hailey are buddies! No matter how much you run around with her and try to wear her out she is like the energizer bunny and seriously keeps going and going.

Valentines Day

I have to tell you I had the best Valentines Day ever!! Scott called me on Friday and asked if he could go to Dumont with some guys from work I told I didnt care cause I wanted a free weekend to do nothing. Well Saturday Morning I went to lunch with Kesha and Kenny to Judd's

(Melenie if you read this I thought of you the whole time)

After I left I was going to go to the mall and buy me some pants and to look around well....as I was pulling away from Judd's Scott calls me and tells me to go home and pack a bag cause he is taking me to Vegas. Mind you this is the first time in the 2 years we have been dating that we have done anything so I was completely shocked! So I go home pack a bag and we head to Vegas. We stayed at the Red Rock Casino

If any of you go to Vegas you have got to stay at this hotel! We got there about 4 or 5 and didnt have to leave, they have resturants, night clubs, blowing alley, movie theather and arcades. We decided we wanted to do something fun and have seen the club 'Cherry' on 21 and on The Real Housewives or Orange County

It was a blast! I recommend it to anyone who is into the whole club scene.

All in all we had a really good time.

Zach will be sadly missed by his many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. I know those who look at this will say "He died over 5 months ago, why are you posting this now"....Here is the story.....
You know when you were like 12 years old and you would go onto random chat rooms and meet people. I met Zach on one of those chat rooms. He was one of those kids that you knew from talking to him there was something really special about him. I never met Zach but we always talked about meeting. He had alot going on in his life, his mom died and he just always felt so alone. The one thing that kept me goin on so many years was his love for EMT. Even at the age of 12 he was volunteering with the EMT in his area. May 2007 he signed on to become a full-time EMT.

The reason I am posting this now is I just found out that he died last night thanks to my sister Kesha. I really wish I never would have lost contact with him. So many years he would talk to my sisters and cousin but I dont know why or what happened we drifted away. Theres those things in life you wish you would have done but didnt.....that is one of mine. Zach was such a good friend.

I know I am no good at this whole posting thing. I cannot get on here while I am at work anymore (thats when most of my posting took place). Nothing has really been going on in my life though so I dont really know what to post about :).

My Years Resolution this year is to focus more on myself and do whatever I need to do to make me happy. We me and my friend Katie have become workout buddies. On Monday and Tuesday we decided to take a Yoga class at the Washington City Rec. Center....if you have not done Yoga I recommend it!!! I know I know I was once one of those people that use to say "Yoga! Only wacko hippy trippy people do Yoga!" But I am not a huge fan. So every Monday and Tuesday at 7:30 I will be in Yoga holding some really awkward and uncomfortable posses :)

They offer a Hip Hop Cardio class as well, and man Katie and I use to think we could dance but after that class we learned that drinking really does impair your judgement cause we sure as heck could not do the dance!! But it was fun!

Besides going to the gym nothing has changed in my life......so now that you are all bored and thinking why in the heck did I waste my time reading this post...you cannot say I do not post anything on my blog :)

I have to start off by saying how thankful I am for my family. My dad's family is so amazing! At the funeral service for my grandpa, my grandpas bishop, who was preciding the service, got up to make a few comments and he mention how he was so amazed at the Mortuary it was more of a celebration than a viewing. He said "I have never in my life been to a viewing that everyone was laughing, smiling, and crying. It really was a celebration. Usually you go to these things and everyone is so sad to see someone pass on but not with you all. You can tell just from being around everyone what a close family you all are." That I am very thankful for. The funeral wasnt so much us saying goodbye but a celebration that my grandpa has rejoined the love of his life, his father that died when he was 4, and his mother. If anyone has ever had the oppurtunity to be around anyone in my dad's family you will know what I mean when I say they are all very crazy :) They are such a close family and I love it! I love all 21 Aunt's and Uncles so much (yes, 21 AUNT Karen). Below are a few pictures from the viewing, the funeral, the lunchin.

Orland Dean Gull St. George, UT - After waiting nine years, Orland Dean Gull was reunited with his sweetheart Helen, on November 28, 2008. Born August 30, 1924 in Hinckley, Millard, Utah to Irah William Gull and Reva Memmott. He married Helen Judd on December 24, 1943 in Spokane, Washington, and were sealed in the St. George LDS Temple on February 6, 1960. He served in the US Navy in WWII with an Honorable discharge. He retired after 36 years of service from Mountain Bell and was a member of the Kiwana’s Club. Favorite pastimes were spent with family, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and other outdoor activities. He was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions.

He is survived by his 11 children: Helene (Edward) Nelson, St. George, UT.,Catherine (Randy) Holman of Sandy, UT., Richard Dean (Barbara) Gull, St. George, UT., Pauline (David) Isom, West Jordan, UT., Kenneth Irah (Becky) Gull, St George, UT., Kristine (Jeffrey) Groat, Moutain Home, ID., Steven Arma (Debra) Gull, Washington, UT., Michael Clarence, West Jordan, UT., Maidalyn Gull Starr, St. George, UT., Rochelle Gull (Robert) Adamson, Gainsville, GA., DeWayne D.J. (Alicia) Gull, Hurricane, UT; 52 grandchildren, and 79 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his half sister, Maxine Bennett Branagan, West Jordan, UT., and half brother, Ralph Bennett, West Jordan, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Helen Judd; great granddaughter Shaylee Nelson; and his brother Arden Gull.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at 11 a.m., at the St. George LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, 200 W. 500 N., St. George, UT. A visitation will be held Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m., at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., St. George, UT., and Wednesday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the chapel, prior to services. The day I have been dreading since the accident 2 years ago as come true...my Grandpa Gull died this morning. I am so thankful that the family was all together for Thanksgiving to be with him one last time. He was in such good spirits eating his two pieces of chocolate cake with his fingers cause there werent any forks :) I will miss him so much! Thank goodness for all the fun memories that I have with him. He is happy and not hurting anymore. He has rejoined his wife whom he missed so much. I can only imagine the greeting her had on the other side. Reunions and Christmas Parties wont be the same.

I love you Grandpa and will miss you deeply but I will see you again.

For the past like 6 months (maybe longer) I have had short hair and have not enjoyed it....just ask Tiffini :) Due to a hairstylist (not Tiffini) that has A.D.D. my hair was fried because she left the bleach in my hair to long....needless to say I finally let Tiffini cut my hair......

I cried when I first looked in the mirror and saw how short it was I thought I looked like a boy!! Oh and Thanks Kylee for telling me I looked like a boy :)

Well Tiffini, Kory and Hailey came down last week so on Saturday I asked Tiffini to come with me to go look for some extensions. This is the end result.....

I LOVE THEM!!! They were $80 at Sally's. Its all real hair so I can straighten, curl, wash and do whatever I want with them. This is my congratulations for passing my test :)

So I FINALLY did it.....I passed my Insurance Test. I am officially a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent! I never understood why people had lucky numbers or favorite numbers but I now have a lucky number 5 :) Yes it has taken me 5 times of paying $88 to take the stupid test (Thank you Tiffini and Kory for the last 2 times). All I can say is I am having a little bonfire in my backyard to burn the stupid book :)

In Memory of Julie Schmutz

It seems like only yesterday my mom was helping Julie wrap her arms and going to Sonic on a daily basis to get their Route 44 Diet Coke with lime..... I cannot believe it has been one year since Julie passed. I dont think I will ever forget that night....I was sleeping on the couch and woke up to Tiffini shaking me telling me, "walk up Julie just died, mom and dad just went up to say goodbye". It was the day that I hoped and prayed would not happen but it was true as much as I didnt want to believe it Julie returned home. It was a bitter sweet feeling, she wasnt hurting anymore and thats what mattered the most.

What I would I do if I didnt have the memories....wow I am so thankful that my mom and Julie were best friends. I looked to Julie as a mom. When my mom got surgery on her knees or anytime she was in the hospital Julie was the mom. I will never forget the umbrella! I was terrified of her for so many years because she would tell us if we don't help out she will hit us with her umbrella. Wow was I really scared of her!

To this day it is still hard for me believe that she is gone. I keep thinking she is just at home in bed and will come down any day to say hi. Im still waiting for that day....

Julie, I love you and miss you and hope to see you again.

My best friend in the whole world came down from Ogden this week. For any of you who know Heather Buatte, its kind of weird that me and her are best friends. My mom use to babysit her when we were little and I absolutley HATED her. I use to call her "socks", because she use to wear her dads socks or something (they were very long) and I guess it didnt bother her that they didnt fit on her feet and would flop around....this drove me freakin crazy!!!! I would always yell at her to pull them up and just to bother me she never would. I remember one day she was fighting with my sister Kesha, Heather told her she was stupid or she was wrong about something, well me being the big sister and overly protective of my family I went right up to Heather and slapped her across the face and told her to be nice to Kesha. She never picked a fight with Kesha ever since :) Anyways we never really liked each other until High School and even then I forgot we were friends.

**Enough of the random details of mine and Heathers friendship I will post some pictures that we took of us tomorrow.

What do you remember about your childhood summers?
-friends, vacations, activities.

My most favorite memories of the summer time is(there are two).....for one of my birthday's my family went to Disneyland with my Grandma Bone and Stephan McMullin. It was the last trip with my Grandma, she died not too long after that. I remember the matching out fits my mom made for all of us. It was the best birthday EVER!!! My other summertime memory was only 3 years ago....My Uncle Richards last wish before he died from colon cancer was to go to Disneyland with all of his brothers and sisters and their kids. So in July we all hoped into the 15 seater Van, Frank & Connie's Van, and Dale & JoAnne's car and headed to California. It was probably the best Disneyland trip I have had. Its always an adventure when you get my mom, Aunt JoAnne, and Aunt Beverlee together you never know what they will do or say :) Word of advise if you watch one electric wheelchair goes off the sidewalk and gets stuck....probably not a good idea to follow right behind....I have never laughed so hard in my life watching my mom and Aunt JoAnne get thrown out of their wheelchairs :)

Memories with my family are the memories I charish the most! I love you guys!!!!

1-I cannot stand waiting for people to go anywhere. (If you say we are going to go then LETS GO)
2-All the clothes and shoes in my closet are color cordinated so I know when anyone takes something (Kylee and Mindi think they can get away with taking stuff)
3-When I get ready in the morning I do it in the same order every morning (straighten hair, brush teeth, put on make up and then fix hair)
4-I will only write with a certain pen while I am at work (it writes the best)
5-I refuse to drink from a cup at a resturant.
6-When I go to a resturant I wont order it if it doesnt have a picture.

I need some help......I am preparing to take the Insurance Exam for the 4th time (its not an easy test) and need some ideas on good ways to study and help me remeber everything for the test. I have had people tell me to do flash cards but if you have ever read your Insurance Policy you would know there is WAY too much information to know and not enough flash cards :) So if anyone has any good ideas I am willing to try just about anything!!!!!!!!

Nature Walk

So today I went to pick up Scott at the Ivins car show which was held at the Santa Clara Park, well I was forced to take a detour. This little detour took me to where the nature walk is......Im am sad to say that the nature walk is gone!!! They replaced it with a stupid road!!! I wanted to cry when I saw it. I took Scott by it and was telling him of the fun times I had when I would go with my family on the weekends to Grandma Bones pick cherries in her trees, walk to the gas station, and go through the nature walk. I remember we would hid on the picnic tables or behind bushes trying to scare each other. The place where I have so many fun memories is now a road :( I am very grateful that my memories of the nature walk will last forever.......
